Over 600,000 Beneficiaries Paid Through MyAccount

Erbil, Kurdistan Region (GOV.KRD) – The KRG Ministry of Finance and Economy is pleased to announce that more than 600,000 civil servants, pensioners, and martyr families will be paid their September salaries digitally through the KRG’s financial inclusion program, MyAccount.

This month, more than 10,000 families of martyrs across the Kurdistan Region will receive payments digitally for the first time, bringing them peace of mind and comfort.

To date, more than 900,000 public sector beneficiaries have registered for bank accounts under MyAccount. The program has deployed more than 500 ATMs across the Kurdistan Region, ensuring 24-hour access to cash for citizens.

The MyAccount program was announced by the Prime Minister Masrour Barzani in 2023 as part of the 9th cabinet’s agenda to modernise banking services and strengthen financial inclusion across the Kurdistan Region.
