Conference on Heart Diseases and Surgery Held in Erbil

Under the supervision and presence of Saman Barzanji, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Minister of Health, along with Omed Khoshnaw, Governor of Erbil, Dlovan Mohammed, Director General of Health in Erbil, and cardiologists and thoracic specialists from Kurdistan, Iraq, and abroad, a conference on heart diseases and surgery was held in Erbil under the theme "Empowering Innovations, Healing Hearts”.

Minister Barzanji emphasised the importance of cardiology, as well as the prevention and treatment of heart diseases. He thanked the doctors, medical staff, and organisers for their efforts in making this important conference possible. Following his remarks, he inaugurated an exhibition showcasing medicines and medical supplies related to heart disease, including equipment used in the placement of stents and balloons.
