KRG Prime Minister Orders Facilitation of Education for ISIS Survivors

On the recommendation of Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), and in order to facilitate the return and continuation of education for survivors of ISIS terrorism - especially Yazidi survivors whose names are registered on the official list of survivors - the following measures have been ordered:

1. Establishing a framework for admitting survivors of ISIS terrorism to all universities and colleges in the Kurdistan Region, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and providing appropriate support and facilities in line with their academic qualifications.

2. Exempting survivors from parallel study fees at all universities and colleges under the Ministry’s authority.

3. Limiting the beneficiaries of these provisions to survivors registered on the official list maintained by the relevant government authorities.
