KRG Ministry of Justice Publishes 2024 Notary Statistics

On Sunday, 19 January 2025, the Ministry of Justice of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) published a comprehensive statistical report on the activities of notary offices across the Kurdistan Region.

According to the report, notary offices handled 1,108,842 cases between 2 January and 30 November, 2024. During the same period, 4,343 enforcement cases were resolved, and 22,630 new cases were initiated. Additionally, 12,488 cases were completed for the Child Protective Services in Erbil, Slemani, and Duhok governorates.

The General Directorate of Notary Services, established under Law No. 13 of 2007, remains one of the most significant directorates within the Ministry of Justice.
