Prime Minister Barzani allocates more than 5 billion Iraqi dinars for Ankawa projects

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has approved the allocation of more than 5 billion Iraqi dinars to pave and construct roads, as well as implementing water and sewage projects in Ankawa district of Erbil province.


The Minister of Municipality and Tourism, Sasan Awni said “the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Prime Minister Masrour Barzani has approved the allocation of 5 billion and 500 million Iraqi dinars in cash from the investment budget of the Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism for the implementation of road paving project, building sidewalks, delivering water, and constructing sewage in section 128 of Ankawa.”

Regarding the impact of the allocated money for the development of the projects in Ankawa, the Minister of Municipalities and Tourism said. “This sum will lead to further development of service projects in Ankawa and in terms of services, taking the district a step forward while it increases the level of services in the area.”
