KRG Minister of Municipalities Meets French Consul General to Strengthen Bilateral Ties and Investment Opportunities

On Sunday, 22 December 2024, Sasan Awni, the Minister of Municipalities and Tourism of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), held a meeting with Yann Braem, the Consul General of France to the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations between the Kurdistan Region and France, as well as opportunities for French companies interested in investing in the Region.

Minister Awni expressed his gratitude to the French government for its ongoing support to the KRG and reaffirmed his ministry’s commitment to assisting the French Consulate and French companies operating in the region in delivering services to the public in the Kurdistan Region.
