Erbil Expands Municipal Services with New Project in Parapedan

A service project valued at IQD 1.688 billion will be implemented in the Parapedan area in Erbil.
Funded through the investment budget of the Ministry of Municipalities and Tourism, the project has now entered its second phase. It aims to construct all local roads in the Parapedan area near Pirash Village within Erbil Municipality, as compensation for the lands of Gird-Jotyar.
The works will include the installation of 53,000 metres of kerbstone and 230,000 m² of second-layer aggregate mix, along with several additional service components. The initiative is considered a priority for Erbil Municipality, intended to provide essential infrastructure to areas that remain underdeveloped or underserved.
Currently, several other service projects are underway within the municipality’s jurisdiction, with further projects planned as part of the municipal development strategy.
