Statement on rocket attack against Peshmerga Forces in Pirde

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - On Friday 7 January, at 19:25, several Katyusha rockets were fired at a Peshmerga base southeast of the town of Pirde, at the border of the Erbil and Kirkuk provinces.

The rockets landed outside the Peshmerga checkpoint, causing no casualties nor material damage.

Peshmerga Forces have launched an investigation into the attack.
