1st Infantry Battalion Conducts Extensive Military Operation

On Thursday, August 1, 2024, the 1st Infantry Battalion of the Ministry of Peshmerga’s 2nd Infantry Division executed a large-scale operation in Qara-Hanjir district and surrounding villages.

The operation which commenced at dusk and continued until noon, aimed to inspect areas suspected of harbouring shelters and hideouts used by Daesh terrorist fighters.
