Prime Minister Masrour Barzani lays foundational stone of Duhok Agro-Industrial Park

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, along with the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Minister of Industry and Trade, Kamal Muslim, on Monday July 20,2020, laid the foundational stone of the Duhok Agro-Industrial Park.

The project will cover 1,400 acres of land and create thousands of jobs in the Kurdistan Region. The industrial zone will boast 275 food storage facilities and 222 other factories, including refrigeration capacities.

The project, known as the “Kani Spi Agro-Industrial Park”, is considered the largest project of its kind in the Kurdistan Region and one of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s most ambitious private-public partnerships.
