Head of DFR, Greek Foreign Minister discuss bilateral relations over phone

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – In a phone conversation on Wednesday, Minister Safeen Dizayee Head of the KRG’s Department of Foreign Relations (DFR) and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias discussed enhancing the Kurdistan Region and Greece ties including diplomatic and cultural cooperation, and other areas of mutual interest.

The Greek Foreign Minister expressed his regret about postponing his visit to the Kurdistan Region due to the technical issues. He also reiterated his country's willingness to further strengthening ties with the Kurdistan Region and hoped to pay a visit in the near future.

Head of DFR thanked him saying that the Kurdistan Regional Government values friendly relations with Greece to promote cooperation and exchanges in many areas.
