Global Solidarity Association increases support for children in refugee camps in Kurdistan

Poland (GOV.KRD) – A Polish non-governmental organization “Association of Global Solidarity” announced the continuation of an extending program “restore hope- aid to the children in Kurdistan”.

The programme has been realized by the Association since October 2019 in cooperation with Barzani Charity Foundation. It relies on support from volunteers in Poland who symbolically adopt children in a refugee camp in Kurdistan Region. They support them with a sum of money to allow them to start or continue education and develop their passions.

In 2020, the first five people from Poland got involved in the program, while five more engaged from the beginning of 2021. It will double the number of children receiving help.

The KRG Representation in Poland thanked the Association and all those involved in this program.
