Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD)- The Head of KRG’s Department of Foreign Relations (DFR), Minister Safeen Dizayee on Tuesday met with Austrian MP, Eva Ernest-Dziedzic.

Both sides discussed the political development in Iraq and the wider region, as well as the humanitarian situation of the refugees in the Kurdistan Region.

Meanwhile, drought and climate change issues were other topics of the meeting and how Europe can help the Kurdistan Region to tackle the challenges imposed by water crisis and climate change.

They also discussed the effects of forming a government in Baghdad on the Kurdistan Region, as well as the freedom of speech and press.
