Head of DFR meets representative of WFP in Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD)- The Head of KRG’s Department of Foreign Relations, Minister Safeen Dizayee on Tuesday met with Ally-Raza Qureshi, representative of the World Food Program (WFP) in Iraq.

The representative of the WFP thanked the KRG for providing the necessary assistance and facilitations to implement WFP projects in the Kurdistan Region. Meanwhile, he presented the organization's latest projects and activities, particularly in the field of agriculture in the Kurdistan Region. 

Climate change and the continuation of bilateral relations and the refugee crisis were other important topics of the meeting.

The Head of KRG’s Department of Foreign Relations thanked the representative of the WFP in Iraq for their assistance and projects in the Kurdistan Region and hoped that they would focus on their projects, particularly in the field of environment, climate and agriculture, and showed his readiness to continue their cooperation.
