Head of DFR receives outgoing Belgian Ambassador to Jordan and Iraq

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Head of the KRG’s Department of Foreign Relations, Minister Safeen Dizayee on Wednesday received the Belgian Ambassador Filip Vanden Bulcke, to bid him farewell at the end of his successful tenure in Jordan and Iraq.

Minister Dizayee thanked the Belgian Ambassador for his remarkable contributions to further strengthening the relations between the Kurdistan Region and Belgium, and wished him success in his future endeavors. In return, the Belgian Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the current bilateral ties and extended his appreciation to the people and government of the Kurdistan Region for the cooperation during his tenure.

Both sides also discussed ways to further develop the relations in the fields of economy, trade, capacity building programs and benefiting from the successful experiences of the Kingdom of Belgium in many various areas, as well as reviewed current political issues and regional situation.
