Kurdistan Region and Republic of Armenia strengthen diplomatic ties
Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Head of the KRG’s Department of Foreign Relations, Minister Safeen Dizayee gave an interview to the Public Relations Department of the Government of the Republic of Armenia on the joint academic coordination, exchange of delegations and development programs.
For the 2nd year, the Republic of Armenia offered diplomatic training opportunities to the civil servants of the Kurdistan Region, which were the first such course to develop their diplomatic skills and knowledge. The participants visited Armenia and captured first-hand diplomatic and cultural experiences of the country.
During the interview, Minister Dizayee thanked the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and highly valued the active role of the Consul General of Armenia in the Kurdistan Region for this initiative and providing such important programs.
He noted that he had received good feedback from the participants for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to them by the authorities and people of Armenia, and hoped that both sides will also strengthen their bilateral relationships in other fields, mainly in industry, agriculture, tourism and technology.
