The acting Head of DFR meets with a Bulgarian delegation

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - The acting head of the KRG's Foreign Relations Department (DFR), Rebar Ahmed on Saturday met with a Bulgarian delegation.

The Bulgarian delegation was led by the Former head of the Bulgarian Embassy's Office of Commerce and Economics in the Kurdistan Region, Vasil Vassilev, accompanied by the Office's new Head, Stanislav Nokov.

Both sides discussed the political situation in Iraq and the wider region, and they both agreed that peaceful dialogue is key to resolve the outstanding issues in Baghdad.

Vassilev thanked the KRG for their continuous coordination, noting that he received support and cooperation from the DFR during his stay in the Kurdistan Region.

The acting head of the DFR wished Vassilev success in his future duties and thanked him for strengthen the relations between the Kurdistan Region and Bulgaria. He reassured that the KRG is willing to further develop the relations through the new head of the office.
