Head of KRG Foreign Relations Department receives US delegation

The head of the KRG's Foreign Relations Department Minister Safeen Dizayee met on Saturday with US Deputy General Consul Ms. Zehra Bell and a delegation from the US government.

An overview of current developments was presented by the Minister underlining the strong partnership between the two administrations, the joint action being taken against terrorism and current reform programs being undertaken by the KRG.

The Minister expressed his appreciation to the US and other allies for their contributions to the establishment of a ‘Safe Haven’ and the UN Security Council Resolution 688 ruling 32 years ago.
