As part of its ongoing efforts to protect citizens, support reconstruction and safeguard the environment, the ninth cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has achieved significant progress in landmine clearance across the Region.

As part of the Kurdistan Regional Government’s ongoing efforts to preserve cultural and historical heritage, extensive restoration is underway at the Erbil Citadel, while restoration work on the Choli Minaret is set to begin shortly. Both iconic landmarks are being carefully preserved to maintain their original character and to strengthen their status as major tourist destinations.
