Kurdistan Regional Government Spokesperson visits Minister of Electricity

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) – Spokesperson of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Dr. Jotiar Adil, on Monday visited the Minister of Electricity, Kamal Salih, to discuss the Ministry’s ongoing projects to improve the delivery of public services.

During the meeting, both sides highlighted the importance of strengthening the electricity sector in the Kurdistan Region to meet increasing public demand and allow different industries to expand.

The spokesperson briefed Minister Salih on the government’s media plan to facilitate the work of government departments, and commended the Ministry of Electricity for its continued efforts to deliver public services amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Minister thanked the Department of Media and Information and media outlets for their role in raising awareness with the public of the Ministry’s projects and activities.
