Joint Coordination Centre activation urgently needed: KRG

Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (GOV.KRD) - On Saturday night an ISIS bomb hit a Peshmerga vehicle in the Tapi Talan area of Kolajo sub-district, martyring five and injuring four.

The Kurdistan Regional Government has repeatedly warned the federal government of security gaps in disputed territories, which is a hub of resurgent terrorism threatening locals.

The KRG reiterates the importance of reactivating joint coordination centres between Peshmerga and Iraqi forces.

We offer our condolences to the family of the martyrs and wish a speedy recovery for the injured.
