The Coordinator for International Advocacy welcomes the CEO of Bellwether for an in-depth discussion on the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Coordinator for International Advocacy, Dr.Dindar Zebari, welcomed Rachel Miner, CEO of Bellwether NGO.
The London-based group works on humanitarian tasks in support of religious minorities who faces genocide, especially where religious freedom has been violated.
The two sides exchanged ideas on protecting freedom of religion, humanitarian aids and resettling of refugees. Dr. Zebari also talked about the role of OCIA in protecting minorities rights.
He also mentioned the obstacles on the process of resettling refugees in their home countries, especially the slowness of the international attempts.
The British CEO expressed her happiness on receiving information on the latest developments with Ezidis case. Moreover, she announced that their NGOs is now working on recognizing the genocide against Ezidis in the British parliament.”
For his part, Dr. Zebari expressed his gratitude for the NGO’s work and said they will also support the case closely.
