The Kurdistan Regional Government Representative to the United States, Bayan Abdul Rahman, on October 27 spoke at a virtual event co-hosted by the U.S. Chamber's U.S.-Iraq Business Council and the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) titled Champions of Business Innovation in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Minister Safeen Dizayee on Thursday at the Department of Foreign Relations met with Mr. Olivier Decottignies, Consul General of the Republic of France to the Kurdistan Region.

Head of the KRG’s Department of Foreign Relations, Minister Safeen Dizayee on Thursday met with the U.S. Consul General in Erbil Mr. Rob Waller, to discuss regional developments and bilateral relations.

Minister Safeen Dizayee Head of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Department of Foreign Relations (DFR) on Sunday met with the head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Iraq Ms. Sheri Ritsema-Anderson to discuss humanitarian issues and areas of cooperation.

In a phone conversation on Wednesday, Minister Safeen Dizayee Head of the KRG’s Department of Foreign Relations (DFR) and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias discussed enhancing the Kurdistan Region and Greece ties including diplomatic and cultural cooperation, and other areas of mutual interest.

Better bilateral relations were discussed when Karwan Jamal Tahir, the KRG High Representative to the UK visited the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office where he was received by James Cleverly, Minister of State for the Middle East & North Africa.
